Deleting your account & data

Draft — pending legal review. These instructions describe how account deletion works in KoirApp today and are being finalised alongside the Privacy Policy before launch.
You can delete your KoirApp account and all associated data at any time, directly in the app. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Delete in the app (fastest)
- Open KoirApp and sign in.
- Go to My Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
- Confirm.
What gets deleted
- Your account and profile (email, name).
- Any household where you are the only member — including its dogs, care logs, schedules, health records, photos and history.
- Your membership in shared households. The household and its data remain for the other members; care you contributed stays with that household.
This happens immediately in the app; operational backups are purged on a rolling basis.
Want a copy first? Deletion can't be undone. You can export your personal data as a JSON file from the app before you delete.
Prefer email?
If you can't access the app, email koirapp@oakko.app from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We'll verify and complete the deletion.
Just want to leave one household?
Open My household → Leave household to remove yourself without deleting your whole account.
