KoirApp is the shared dog-care app made by Oakko Oy. Here's how to get help, manage your subscription, and control your data.

Managing your subscription

KoirApp subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store, so you manage them in your Apple account — not inside KoirApp:

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone/iPad.
  2. Tap your name at the top → Subscriptions.
  3. Select KoirApp to change tier or cancel.
  • Your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple — request them at reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • If a paid plan ends, your account returns to the free tier. Dogs and data above the free limits are kept (locked), not deleted — they reappear if you upgrade again.

Your data: export and delete

KoirApp is privacy-first. You're in control of your data, directly in the app.

Export your data

  • Your personal data (GDPR export) can be exported as a JSON file on every tier, including free.
  • Whole-household export is available on the paid tiers, from My household → Export all data.

Delete your account and data

Open My Settings → Delete my account and confirm. This permanently deletes your account and the data we control. A household where you are the only member is deleted in full; shared households remain for their other members. Deletion can't be undone — export first if you want a copy. Notifications not working?

Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. If one didn't arrive, check:

  1. Notifications are allowed: iPhone Settings → KoirApp → Notifications.
  2. Battery saver / Do Not Disturb / Focus modes can delay or silence notifications.
  3. The phone was on at the reminder time.
  4. Reminders aren't paused in My Settings → Pause my reminders (this is per-device).

Notifications are per device — each household member gets their own on their own phone.
